Learn to Sew - A Tote Bag
Duration: 4.5 hours
Class size: Max 4 students
Skill level: Absolute Beginners
This workshop is for absolute beginners who want to learn to sew and leave with a finished project. A tote bag is the perfect place to start your sewing journey, build confidence and follow a simple sewing pattern and let's face it, tote bags are very handy!
The pattern is designed for quick, enjoyable sewing and it's a super speedy make! I own and have gifted multiple versions of this bag. After selecting a fabric and coordinating webbing of your choice, you'll learn how to thread the machine, use basic stitches and finishing techniques as well as adding a little personalisation to your bag with a label of your choice.
The workshop covers essential techniques that can be applied to other projects and you will leave with a gorgeous bag and the skills and confidence to continue making at home.
By the end of the class, you will be able to:
- Use a sewing machine
