I’m Ali, a colour, pattern and print lover, a designer, crafter and fabric collector who’s happiest when creating.

 

Making and crafting have always been my way to look after my mental health. I believe in the power of busy hands and a creative mind to bring calm, balance, and joy.  I'm a curious, multi-disciplined maker who always has a handful of projects on the go!

 

I love sharing my passion for sewing, dressmaking and textile design with others, whether that’s

through inspiring conversations, hands-on workshops, or simply connecting over beautiful fabrics.

 

Over the years I’ve trained and supported many creative people in different settings, and nothing makes me happier than inspiring and nurturing others grow in confidence and creativity.

 

With a degree in Textile Design and a career that’s spanned printed textile design, interior design, visual merchandising and education, I’ve built a wide range of knowledge and skills.

 

My true love (apart from my family!) will always be surface pattern design, dressmaking and the joy of discovering what can be made with fabric, imagination and a bit of courage.
