Get into the holiday spirit with this fun and colourful craft session at Hello Studio!
In this workshop, you’ll create a sparkling fabric art piece perfect for decorating your tree, home or gifting to someone special.
 
Using embroidery hoops as frames, we’ll combine bright and glittery iron on appliqués, and simple hand-stitched details to make joyous and whimsical designs.
 
You’ll learn how to:
🌟 Cut and layer iron on shapes for bold, modern designs
🎨 Use colour and composition creatively
🪡 Embellish your art with sparkly hand embroidery
 🌟 Finish your frame neatly and add a ribbon ready to hang
 
All materials are provided, there will be a range of templates available, paper will be provided if you'd prefer to create your own.  No sewing experience needed, I'll guide you through a few simple decorative hand embroidery stitches.
 
Take home: A finished holiday hoop artwork ready to hang or gift!

1 x 10cm hoop per person, additional hoops will be available to purchase
 Cotton fabric

Accessibility
This workshop will be held at Pop Up Shop, 31 fore street, Wellington.  If you are travelling by car North Street carpark is a short walk to the venue. 
 
Cancellations
Life happens, if you need to cancel please let me know at least 7 days in advance, if you can, and you'll receive a full refund.  Cancellations made 3–6 days before will receive a 50% refund or a 75% refund if I can fill your place.  Unfortunately, cancellations within 48 hours can’t be refunded.
If you are unable to make it and would like to transfer your spot to a friend please let me know in advance.
If we ever need to cancel a workshop due to low participant uptake, illness or venue issues, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to join a future class.
